Flonga ("we," "our," or "us") is an independent youth-led digital and innovation platform focused on creative technology, sustainability, and innovative youth initiatives. Flonga is organized as a fiscally nonprofit entity under U.S. 501(c) regulations and operates internationally, including programs and partnerships in the Republic of Egypt. The Hack Foundation (d.b.a. Hack Club) serves as the U.S. nonprofit fiscal sponsor for Flonga since October 27, 2025.

 

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information of our visitors, partners, and supporters. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit flonga.org (the "Site"), including our use of advertising services such as Google AdSense.

D. No Control Over Third-Party Ad Content

While we review our advertising partners, we do not control the content of individual ads served by Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of individual advertisers. You should review the privacy policies of any third party whose ads appear on our Site.

E. Children and Advertising

We do not knowingly serve interest-based advertising to users under the age of 13. Our Site is directed at users aged 13 and above. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to remove that information and disable advertising targeting to that user.

We use the information we collect to:

Please note that opting out of personalized ads does not mean you will no longer see ads on our Site. You may still see non-personalized (contextual) ads.

6. International Data Transfers

Flonga operates in both the United States and Egypt, and our advertising and analytics partners operate globally. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. We ensure that such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws and that appropriate safeguards are in place, including, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Site and programs are primarily designed for youth and young adults aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. We do not direct interest-based advertising at children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@flonga.org immediately so we can remove it.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use of the Site is at your own risk.

9. Links to Third-Party Websites

Our Site may include links to third-party platforms, including partner organizations, sponsors, or event hosts. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

10. Retention of Data
